About Us
Lorraine and Michelle are The Nail Academy Scotland. We have been in the nail industry for over 18 years. We both initially trained as nail technicians and quickly moved on to education. We successfully ran the Fingers Nail Design salons in Glasgow and East Kilbride and the training side of the company, Futurenail Training School. Our aim is to continue giving the best education, products and support to every nail technician.
Company Heritage
Futurenail Training School and Fingers Nail Design were created in Vancouver in 1979. The original founder, Anne Roberts, contacted her family in Scotland to see what the interest in nail enhancements would be in the UK. The first fingers franchise was then opened in 1990, followed in 1993 by Futurenail.
After working with various products, they were introduced to Creative Nail Design in 1996. With some fantastic products and excellent education programmes, Futurenail was the place to start your career as a nail technician.
In September 2007, the opportunity arose for Lorraine and Michelle to take over the company and The Nail Academy Scotland was born.
With their dedication, passion and commitment to the nail industry, their mission is to continue to provide products, excellent training programmes, services and support to nail technicians past, present and future.
